- Parallel venation: If veins are parallel to each other beside the midrib, then such type of venation is called parallel venation. Examples: wheat leaf, grass leaf, etc.

iv) Parallel venation: In this type veins run parallel to each other from the base to the tip of th leaf. It is commonly found in monocot plants. examples: grass, wheat.
5) Why is the camel called the “ship of the dessert”?

i) It has flat, broad feet for walking on sand.
ii) It can travel long distance without water
iii) It carries peoples and heavy loads acros the desserts
