Observations:

• The tangents T1 and T2 intersect at a point outside the circle, which is called the point of contact.
• The tangents are perpendicular to the radii OP and OQ respectively, drawn from the center O of the circle to the points of contact P and Q.
• The length of the tangent from a point to a circle is equal to the radius of the circle that is perpendicular to the tangent. Hence, TP = TQ = 3.3 cm.
• The chord PQ intersects the tangents at points T1 and T2. These points are equidistant from the center O of the circle, and they lie on the perpendicular bisector of the chord.
